Cycled to Changi Beach!

yesterday, i met viceroy at parkway ntuc then we headed to ecp to rent bikes to cycle to changi foodcourt there and back. we met at around 10 plus and it was burning hot man haha. this was my first time cycling to changi area haha it was fun but very tiring ahha. i was very amazed with the nice scenery along the cycling paths and cycling next to the airport runway was damm amazing haha. k here are some pics i have taken.. although after the cycle, we both were burnt, leg aches and butt hurts like mad but it was good workout ahha.

First Driving Practical Lesson

Driving was damm fun haha. i had never thought that it would be easy as all the changing of gears and pressing the clutch seems really complicated but once you get the hang of it. its actually pretty easy. this morning woke up at 7a.m wash up and left house at 7.30. headed to Comfort driving centre by bus 55. ahha i was damm sua ku this morning. i alighted at the wrong stop la one stop before my stop haha so i had to walk like two bus stops haha felt damm sua ku but it's okay ahha no one realise wad haha. i reached the center at 8am whereby my lessons starts at 8.30. i went to check the car no. that i was allocated to and was even more sua ku. haha there is a self efficent kiosk at the center where i could check which car i am allocated to. i did not kow it was a touch screen koisk ahha . after i typed in my user id and press enter. they had no records of me haha cos i did not add the V in front as i could not find it. then thank god the person behind me assisted me in finding the car allocated to me haha. k after that i waited till about 8.20 then i went to look for the car no. 5. i walked a fre times up and down the carpark and the no.5 car is nowhere to be found. then i panick haha so first time wad dunno what to do. then i met vanessa may from my previous CDS haha then she say just continue to find haha so i walk a few more times and around 8.28am i found the car no.5 haha the instructor last min then put up the number la thats why i cant find it at first ahha today i learnt some basics stuff and drove around the circuit for like dunno how many times haha i am proud of myself as i managed to stop for the pedestrain to cross and not knock him down ahah. today's lesson was successful:P shall keep practising my releasing of the clutch haha. must release damm slowly sia haha.

so after my lesson i went to delfi orchard to sign up for my jap lesson. then headed to ah jia house and slept till evening haha feel like a pig sia haha eat and sleep ahah cos nth mto do mah so sians. kk cya! shall update on tml's driving lesson tml haha

The Bangs Sisters:P

Yesterday was Pearlyn's 18th Birthday! happy birthday girl :P me lokes and pearlyn went to E Hub at downtown east for lunch and movie. we had taiwan chicken and mee sua and watched Death Race. pearlyn wanted to catch a M18 movie but none of the current M18 movies seems nice haha so we watched a NC16 movie haha. the Cathay staff asked for our I/Cs la haha we dont look old enough i guess ahha. what was very intersting to know was that the cinema seats have a folding table haha i was like super shock of my life haha and i took a picture of it. ( See Above). it was for us to put our barangs on ahha . it was a creative idea but the space between the seats in front were so wide that we cant rest out legs on. sians haha the movie was cool, like some racing game haha. after the movie, we headed for the arcade. played slient hill with pearlyn and some very intersting hitting monsters game with lokes haha then we took neo print which brought back our secondary sch memories of going crazy over neo prints.

then we went to white sand for Ben and Jerrys Ice cream and started to take pics tgt.... after the ice cream, we all took the train and went for diff our appiontments. i went to meet my cell group for dinner at ASTONS. i was like super excited and kept thinking for the whole day what side dish to choose and when i reached ASTONS.... -_-'' i fainted haha it was closed. they cheated my feelings sia. they stated open daily ahaha!! what happen ahha so instead me and my cell group had our dinner at parkway Central cafe. sunny let us try vietmanese mooncake ahha it was super huge and not bad tasting haha. but i still prefer snow skin mooncake :P yeah haha fei si wo. after dinner, samantha introduced us to KOI CAFE whcih sells DAMM GOOD PEARL MILK TEA! it's authentic la can choose sugar level one damm cool sia. originated from Taiwan no wonder so good ahha they also do delivery on bikes haha. so taiwan ! it's a must try ya! then after that i headed home and chiong youtube haha watched fated to love you and cried like a cow ahha. cow and crying got link meh? aha nvm :P kk take cares and i shall post again

Yeah! finally it's hols! next sem i would be back in TP campus le. really would miss having lessons at TAS although it's further from my house but the environment there is much better:P really had alot of fond memories there haha.
during this term break i would be trying my best in getting my driving license:P i have booked my BTT test on 23rd sept haha and the kia su counter uncle helped me booked 4 e trail mock test before my actual one at 5.40 . so in total i would be doing 5 BTT test haha and onli the last one is the actual one. have to score 95 and above man haha all the best to me:P
tomorrow i would be having my first practical lesson. pray that i get a good instructor who is friendly and have lots of patience :P haha cant wait to drive. i have to be confident in myself! JIA YOU!!

okays so far in the month of MARCh, i have watched 2 movies. they are the SPIDERWICK and THE BUCKET LIST. the siperwick was nice. it's very funny ahha. i must say that THE BUCKET LIST is very very good. it has lots of humour but also very touching.at the front abit boring cos alot of talking but after the talks its very good haha. very nice storyline and meaningful too. Went to catch the movie today with loke yan and pearlyn. we went the CATHAY to watch it and also had lunch there. i cant wait to go SHANGHAI !!! haha

On 28 feb, last day of my end semester exam, FNB, i went to attend roxanne's MJC dance concert. it was awesome. everyone dance damm gracefully and with lots of emotions and fun. i really enjoyed myself alot. before the concert, went fish and co with sherine angeline and shi ting at TM for lunch and went funan A-Roy Thai for diiner with samantha and boontip. i had PAD THAI haha it rocks it's a must eat :P

4th March.
after watching The Leap Years with shi ting, sherine and angeline at marina square, i went dinner with my parents and Della. Della is my dad's indoneisian friend's daughter. she is here in singapore as her company had send her here for a training course. she specialises in market research :P itwas great having dinner with her as she was very open and shared with us alot of things. she loves varities of food especially seafood and chilli haha.

hello everyone haha ruth is back haha. since the semester is over and all the projects and exams are over, i will have time to blog haha. alot of things have happened and i took alot of pictures and i am very lazy to post cos there is so much to do haha so now i shall give u all a summary of what i have been doing ahha.

haha today went to church, did log duty then had cell group. today's sermon was about direction for the future. it was great and it really was helpful to me. k so ya the highlight of today was dinner!! haha i had my dinner with my parents at century square and we had TEMPANYAKI :P
my dad ordered the beef set and me and my mum shared the lobster set haha it was great man the food was so nice haha although i dun like to eat garlic but the garlic rice there is so good haha let me show u some pics haha :P it's quite ex thou but worth it :P

My set came with white rice, salad, mushrooms(golden mushroom, shitake mushroom,abalone mushroom), tofu,turkey,sotong,lobster and miso soup ahaa. the turkey meat damm nice taste like chicken and very tender haha . CAUTION: tempanyaki is full of garlic haha they cook everything! with GARLIC haha but it's good ahha kills germs ahha so if u super dislike garlic, dont bother going ahah

MUSCLES!! haha i fried them k with garlic and chilli!

haha my invention of crane lantern

i made a bigger one where the candle is in the crane's body but it lasted
for like 20 secs onli haha then it burnt the whole crane ahha

it's more like a crane paper candle holder.

but it's pretty haha

all the cousins wanted to go for our annual lantern march round the
neighbourhood but due to the bad wind haha the lanterns didnt last
they all started to catch fire. sad:( we shall try it next year.

Firstly, i would like to wish my cousin Abigail ! a very Happy Birthday! May all your hopes and dreams come true babe! okays today, after working at melody music from 9am to 5pm, i went to buy Long John Silver's fish set one haha and some lanterns and headed to my grandma's house to celebrate mooncake festival. i was suppose to meet my mum at parkway after my work for shopping but she called and told me she wasnt feeling very well and that she has gotten the same virus thta i have gotten a few weeks ago. called intestine virus. my cousin joy also kanna. haiyo nowadays so many virus everywhere. ppl pls take good care k!

Lord i pray that you would come and pour your protection and healing on them and in the name of Jesus, my mum and my cousin will be healed. Amen:P

k back to the mooncake celebration. we are celebrating it earlier as my overseas relatives are flying back to paris tml so we decided to celebrate with them before they leave. we had barbecue and home cooked food. my grandma cooked alot of delicious dishes especially muscles!!!!! haha my FAV! i kept eating alot of it lar hahha muscle madness man .

then we played lanterns too haha and due to the constant wind that kepts blowing the lanterns, most of the lanterns caught fire ... burst into flames and poof! gone haha luckily i made some crane lanterns out of mahjong paper ahaha it didnt last long either but it was fun haha. i took quite alot of pics of the lanterns as they were so pretty when they are being lighted up :P LOVE IT!

and lasltly, my sister bought a set of HELLO KITTY mooncakes from polar puff and cakes at bugis haha it's cute lar but so ex haha sorrie i lazy to take pic to show u all next time k ahah it's cute lar.got cranberry flavour leh haha i bet angeline will love the hello kitty mooncakes haha

okays... this morning i woke up at 10.15. i watched tv until bout 11 then i went to shower and i left my house at 11.20am. i thought that i couldnt make it one time at 12 at plaza sing but to my surprisingly, i managed to reach there on time! exactly at 12 haha and i was the first ! all of my sec sch classmates are late ! haha then while waiting for them, i went to try one some clothes at fox as i really wanted to buy them but when i tried them on, they didnt look very good on me so i decided not to get it. k so when all of the late birds arrived, we went to yoshinoya for lunch and then we bought tickets for the movie, No Reservations. 2.25pm movie. so while we were waiting for the movie to start, we went to the arcade to past time ahah we played basketball , drums day car racing haha it was realli fun and i bought my egg pancake ! haha so happy:P so nice lar!

the movie was great! so after the movie we went to walk around spotlight , yamaha , dosai and carefour. we kept playing and taking alot of retarded pictures haha but it was great haha
then after getting what we needed, me and lokes left the group and went to our appointments. the rest went out for dinner. i went to my grandma's house to meet my mum , sis , and relatives and we took a cab and car to East Coast JumBo seafood restaurant haha the dinner was good but ah! fattening ahha eat so much ! ahha the chilli crab and blackpepper carb was super spicy ahaha but shiok haha and we had alot of other dishes too! my fav! muscles! haha this dinner was a treat for my overseas relatives as they will be heading back to paris this sunday.

k so after the super filling dinner, we headed home. phew... what a tiring day man haha oh ya and my grandma bought horfun take away for my uncle and aunt who cant make it and it weighed a ton man haha never in my life have i ever carried such heavy horfun man ahha
it's super big and heavy aha i wonder how my uncle and auntie is going to finish man. ahha

Daisy is an urban melodrama about Hye-Young (Ji-hyun), a young struggling art painter who mistakenly fell in love with an Interpol police detective Jeong-Woo (Sung-jae). She thought that he is the person who sends daisies to her everyday. Jeong-Woo eventually found out the real daisy guy: Park-Yi (Woo-Sung), who happens to be a professional hitman who admired Hye-Young ever since he saw her painting daisies in the countryside.

The Daisy guy saw Hye-Young crossing over the river on a tree trunk to paint at the fields. when she was done painting and while she was crossing back , she slipped and fell of the tree trunk and fell into the river. her painting and her bag of art materials fell into the river too. she managed to get her painting box only and she left. from then on she had a phobia of crossing over. when the daisy guy saw Hye-Young fall into the river , he quickly ran over and picked up her bag of art materials and he build a bridge for her! and he placed the bag on the bridge. then from that day onwards , everyday at 4.15 pm he would send a pot of daisy flowers to Hye-Young's Shop front. So Sweet rite:P

then he moved into an apartment where he is able to see Hye-Young paint. he watched her everyday until one day, the Interpol police detective Jeong-Woo was on duty and he bought a pot of daisy and sat in front of hye-young at exactly 4.15pm( the time when the daisy guy always sends the flowers at) and paid her to sketch a portrait of him. he was actually just sitting there on duty observing the bad guys secretly and Hye-Young thought the detective was the daisy guy when she saw the pot of daises! ah!

then when Hye-young showed the detective the paintings she painted of the daisy field and the bridge that the daisy guy build and the story that the daisy guy brings to her a pot of daisy everyday at 4.15pm, the detective just stood silence and hugged her. which obviously he isnt the daisy guy but he just pretended to be cos she really loves the daisy guy and really wanted to meet him.

one day, when the detective was on duty, then the bad guys came out and the police were about to arrest them so the two parties started to shoot each other and the hitman helped from his house. he shot the bad guys super accurately at their heads with a sniper. then during the commotion, Hye-young was accidentally shot at her throat and she lost her voice. the detective went back to korea and didnt come back to find Hye-young immediately as he was scared as he did not tell her that he was a cop. The hitman from that day on tooked care of her and did all he could to make her happy but Hye-young was still very hurt that the detective didnt come and find her as she misunderstood that he was the daisy guy and told the hitman(who is the real daisy guy) that she already had someone whom she loved.

Then, Story continues to unfold and in the end, this movie shows the what one can do for his/her loved ones. This movie was shot entirely in The Netherlands, for the most part in the capital of Amsterdam, Haarlem and Epen.

went to IKEA tampines with my dad this afternoon for lunch as well as to look for my furniture as i am renovating my room! i had Swedish meatballs and my dad had poached salmon. it was so yummy :P that i started to eat it as soon as i settled down and forgotten to take a pic of it first .

As today is a weekday, there wasnt much people and the place was freezing cold man. we walked and walked and walked round and round and round to find a suitable size ,design and colored furniture for my room. although it was very tiring but it was very fun! the new stocks had arrived but not really much of a difference la. i m still cracking my brains to decided on whether i want white furnitures or black and brown ones haha. but i think i would be getting the black and brown ones. the designs are nicer:P

After Ikea, me and my dad decided to take a look at the other two megastores! GIANT and COURTS. and so my dad drove to giant and parked. then we went out to take a look at the giant megastore. it has two storeis. the first story is 7 Eleven and guardian then the second story is just a super big level with everything. from furniture to electrics to clothes to sports equipment to stationary to wet food dried food kitchen wear and alot more la. i see until i blurr le . haha i bought nescafe 3 in1 packet instant coffee and a FIRST magazine.

then my dad drove to the last megastore which is courts! courts has like 4 stories man . but the 4th story is office level. so me and my dad went to every level starting from level3 and we walked every level to look at the things lar and i found a 103 inche plasma television! it was crazily humongous man ! damm BIG lar! bigger than me like 5 times haha and the price also damm nice $99,000 ! haha so damm ex . then after walking the three levels, i was exhuasted and so was my dad . after looking and walking for so long my legs were aching and i was having a slight headache haha didnt expect just window shopping can be so tiring. so me and my dad rested for awhile then we headed to parkway singtel shop to ask the ppl how to set the bluetooth ear piece and then went to cold storage buy jelly and mini poppers! haha mini poppers very nice leh haha first time trying, then after parkway, went to ah jia(grandma) house for dinner. the end.

MUST WATCH korean drama !

Today is a very long and tiring day but super fun :P in the morning i walked to katong mall for my guitar lesson with tip and after that i went to mountbatten CC and tip went for wakeboarding haha so hip right haha although it was raining heavily, thank God that the rain went down. brought the Young Arrows Kids to kent ridge park for a hike this afternoon, although it was drizzling but i'm sure all the kids had fun and so did the helpers. a group of MJC students organised a trip for the kids as part of their CIP so cool rite haha and ms roxanne low was in the group haha such a small world. it's great to see the kids playing around making friends although they were super hyper and noisy haha. the bus driver counld't take the noise but after awhile can le as the kids settled down. after the hike we headed back to mountbatten CC to sent the kids home and after that i went to meet pearlyn at parkway. pearlyn's mum was buying her a trackmill ! haha to slim down ! it's good i test try for her first haha think i should start exercising haha . went to east coast park kenny rogers to eat with pearlyn haha fattening lar haha but nvm haha then walk walk see stars and then went to have mango showhand dessert at hongkong cafe express ! damm nice ! haha and after the dinner i went home haha had to chase after the bus 13 like crazy haha. and i watched the snow queen korean drama on TV! it's very nice ! and ya huan huan ai PART 2 come out le haha anyone want to sponsor me ? haha after i saw the vcd i called angeline immediately haha kk shall go sleep soon haha take cares !

haha forgot to intro to all of you my cherrychua family :P the family which i love so much :P
first at the top right is Sherine ( my father) who just made me jealous cos i dun have donuts! but nvm i forgive u ahha then SP(my mother) . the four on the right half of the pic are my beautiful wives(angeline, shi ting, yangling and yanling) :P and the pretty girl at the bottom left is my daughter(melissa). now it has became very complicated and confusing haha cos some of the members ah flirt around and ya have affairs and so they mess up the family tree haha . but no matter wad they will always be loved by me and always be part of the cherrychua family :P thanks alot for everything !

last day of 1st Semester!

haha today is the last day of the 1st semester. means .. exams are coming !! ah!! must chiong le but very sian leh i so lazy ... haha must start doing revision cannot slack ah must pass !!! today is a very very tiring day but had lots of fun in school:P got back out INHT project and BCS marks. got to buck up for INHT! JIA YOU JIA YOU !! ate jap food at mensa today for lunch and ate cornetto blackforest ice cream ahah FATS ah :P then later, during BCS today, my class sang birthday song for mr BINGO :P in 3 languages haha english chinese and dunno wads the other one .. sort of like alien language haha then after mr bingo gave out our results and marked our attendance for the last time, we were free to go ~~ but most of us stayed to play haha. me melissa and angeline kept singing and singing. after a while, i played the idiot game online haha and designed my own simpson online . sherine did a great job :P her design was so breath taking haha what a wonderful piece of creation haha and after that i headed home to SLEEP haha was damm tired and my classmates went to watch fireworks. my sis asked me to go but i was too tired so i turned her down but she went with her friends la so okay ahha she got someone to accompany her. haiz.. when i am awake no one wants me but when i m asleep ppl find me haha cos while i was having my nap, angeline and clifton called both wanting to ask me go watch fireworks. clifton got the platform tickets ah!! but i was sleeping ah wasted! so sorrie . after my dinner at grandma house, went to mini mart with my parents to buy milk and biscuits haha i bougth EGO WALNUT COOKIES ! ppl! listen up ! it's damm nice ahha definitely a MUST TRY! :P kk 1K06 lets chiong tgt kk JIA YOU ! love u all muacks ! take cares and nights!

eh so how? dis is not ruth blogging...haha im a mysterious spirit, im here since its my month!!! hehehehe...ok let's talk abt today...i'll speak for ruth though...so me=her

hmmmm...let me see, met shiting in the morning...then had OB tutorial, there's this lecturer taking over us today, haiz, no more mok...so this lecturer is as cute la...then had fun in her class! cause we had discussions...and we had to go back to our OB group! yes! kelvin! melissa! shiting! angeline! yinghui! so we discussed and came up with answers, i wrote them down, and kelvin had to present...he did a good job presenting, though can't stand his nonsense...haha
then, we got to see how we did for our projects, and so, our group got 74! it's not bad la, haha
and next, our coursework grades, i got a B+ surprisingly...not so bad oso la...

eh, next we had lunch at bizpark, and soon we're at the lab doing our peer appraisal, everyone was chionging! haha, and then when it was the time for OB lecture, melissa gave all of us a shock! fortunately, all the pain and suffering was gone! hahaha, melissa take care alright!
then we made it for OB lect, valarie was lecturing! how exciting, but the lecture was not of much help in kelvin's opinion...hahah, so the lecture ended and...
it was time to celebrate seowpeng's bdae!!!

LOL!

ok then training ended and waited for bus wif kelvin again! so fun lor...then bus came and he left, then my bus came and went home to chat wif kelvin...hahahha and now ruth is asleep, cause she needs to meet her project mates tomorrow to chiong presentation!!!

hey! haha i'm blogging :P this morning i went for my guitar lesson and mark was back ! to teach me and tip for one day haha. we learnt the intro of creed-higher. i cant stretch my fingers for some notes so i got to keep practicing :P after guitar, i had lunch with tip at katong shopping centre then i went to sam's house to make sandwhiches for YA. and after that went for YA for awhile then i went for my jap lesson. and then i headed home. that all for the day haha now it's picture time !

Jay chou- Secret <--- must watch !

hey hey ppl haha! i m finally blogging! wanna know the reason? it's a secret. :P
just to update about what happen during the time that i didn't blog haha i have lots of projects, i have joined Tp Salvo drums, i had a total of 6 cakes for my birthday and hm.. dont remember much le. kk thats the past so not very impt haha i shall share about today. today is a very long day yet it is very fun! in the morning, had inht presentation where everyone has got to wear formal clothes haha we all look so smart lar ( i will post the pics next time :P) then after the presentation and rht lecture we took alot of pictures and then headed to tm for lunch and movie. i went to tm with sherine(PA) and angeline and shi ting and yh. we had our lunch at fish and co . it took us very long before we settled down for our lunch. we ate the set meal. me and angeline had fish nuggets , shi ting and sherine ate salad, and yh had fish nuggets. all of ate the same main course which was NEW YORK FISH AND CHIPS. it was very big. onli yh managed to finish the whole fish with fries. the girls and i eat until we scared of fish le haha. after that we sent shi ting off for her hip hop dance lesson and the remaining of us went to purchase our tickets for secret, the movie by Jay Chou. it was a very good movie!! LOVE IT! just that got some parts abit confusing but it's good :P after the movie, me and angeline started to fight haha it was very fun and very funny haha cos she loves! beckham and i like jay chou and i dun like beckham and she dosent like jay chou. get it ? haha and so we started to suan each other quite badly haha but we all know it meant no harm haha sherine was also involved in the fight but she was kinda neutral as she supports S.H.E but she also kanna suan by me and angeline . we kept laughing and laughing so hardly that i think it helps to lose weight haha we should fight more often k ! :P haha one more thing i would like to share :P Fox is having 50% off all the clothes except for new arrivals haha i just bought a color shirt today for onli $13 leh haha i'm so happie :P kk i shall blog soon again i hope :P exams are coming up... sians lar haha take cares ppl cya

last performance with juniors and the band . i have indeed enjouyed myself alot in band all these years and have gone through good and bad times . all the joy and laughters and tears shed . band has indeed been a great blessing to me as i m blessed with such great seniors and juniors :P just wanna let u juniors know that it is not the end and eventhough the band size is reduced i believe u all can still be a good band . firstly u all gotta work tegether ya ! respect your seniors and leaders . practise hard on your playing skils and sound quality . it may be hard at times but with determination all of u can do it ! just believe in yourself ! eventhough the seniors have stept down , but at times when u need help and guidance or just someone to talk to or go out for luch just call us up ya i'm sure all the seniors and more than willing to help u all ! so continue to work hard and enjoy playing ya ! play from your heart within ! if u realli enjoy what u play and play it with all your heart and emotions it will be a marvellous piece of music ! lastly ! work well with mr chionh okay ? cooperate with him ya dun give him problems . mr chionh has been with brd band for so many years and has gone throgh all the good and bad times with us .. eventhough at times we make him blow his top he is still coming to teach us and be there for us ! so dun let your seniors and mr chionh down ya ! jia you for next year syf hor go for every band practise and dun let teachers always scold u and chase uall ah ! take cares and gonna miss all of u !
